Friezland Band was formed in 1983 and we have been regularly performing ever since. While we are now based in neighbouring Uppermill we still do regularly perform in Friezland to make sure we are true to our name.

We play a wide variety of music including everything from traditional brass band marches to arrangments of film music and funk and soul hits. We have a regular concert schedule which always gives the band something to work towards and change our programme frequently so that no one ever gets bored of the same old music.

We welcome anyone interested in joining the band or just looking to pop by for a blow to come down to any of our weekly rehearsals and to join us for a drink at the bar afterwards.
